Boeing to Open New Engineering Facility in Florida, Announces Major Hiring Plans
Boeing has unveiled plans to establish a new engineering facility in Daytona Beach, Florida, focused on its defense and government services portfolios. This move includes the aim to recruit almost 200 engineers throughout this year.

In related news, Boeing also reported delivering 24 commercial planes in May. This number represents about half of the 50 jets delivered to customers during the same period the previous year, as the company maintained a slower assembly line to address outstanding work.
